Trip Reports A nice selection of Argentinian wines at a supermarket in London

I don't know, but they are at the same price as in Argentina, so they are surely importing big amounts.

Trip Reports A nice selection of Argentinian wines at a supermarket in London

The ones at the top El Enemigo, Zuccardi and Catena (doesn't show on the photo but there were some) are top notch wines. This supermarket is called 'Tesco' and they have really good prices. I googled the prices online and El Enemigo Cabernet Franc 2021 is 20 pounds. I also searched for the price...

From what I've read in this forum G&D developers accept US$ transfers to a US bank account. @BuySellBA knows more....

Food & Drink Does anyone else notice their coffee recently not tasting good?

Actually Colombian coffee is pretty light in flavor, and it's considered to be one of the best ones in the whole world. It's all about the roasting: Italians would heavily roast the beans, while in Colombia they usually go for a light roast which requires the coffee beans to be of excellent...

Food & Drink Does anyone else notice their coffee recently not tasting good?

I don't remember exactly but around 2 euros. Meals around 30 euros but you need to pick the place, for example that place where a 30cl bottled beer was 6 euros the pasta was really bad.

Food & Drink Does anyone else notice their coffee recently not tasting good?

I've been to Rome a few weeks ago and I found it expensive. In some places a small beer was around 6 euros. Uber is 30 euros, maybe the most expensive in Europe. Uber in Madrid and Paris are around 10 / 15 euros.

Food & Drink Does anyone else notice their coffee recently not tasting good?

Bonafide sells good coffee from Colombia and Brazil and you can go to the store and buy coffee beans or fresh ground. Flat & White is a small specialty coffee brand they have a couple of coffe places in BA, an online store and youtube channel. They sell coffee from different countries of Latin...

Food & Drink Does anyone else notice their coffee recently not tasting good?

That's insane. In Colombia Juan Valdez is considered an average cafe, they serve coffee in carton cups pretty similar to Starbucks and I'm not fond of it. Smaller specialty coffee brands are much better: an espresso is less than 2 dollars and half kg bag of high quality cofee between 10 and 20...

Alerting the World to RT’s Global Covert Activities

Maybe that's true for first world countries, but Argentina has been cut out from the world for so long that we do need allies right now and you can only go so far being neutral in this context.

Alerting the World to RT’s Global Covert Activities

It's easy when you are not on the President's chair. I respect this man but he wouldn't last event 2 weeks as president of Argentina XD.

Politics With the support of Macri, the Government managed to maintain the veto on the university financing law - Infobae

This is good news. Unfortunately universities are yet another pool of corruption. Despite all the money spent over decades the education level kept decreasing and the state of the facilities is terrible. Some provinces would create new universities just to steal a big chunk of the government...

Alerting the World to RT’s Global Covert Activities

My common sense says that is not a good idea to be aligned with Putin, Maduro and others alike. Milei has a point when he says that being neutral in the past didn't work for us: we were bombed twice and one prosecutor that was investigating the AMIA bombing was murdered... maybe if he would have...

Alerting the World to RT’s Global Covert Activities

September 13, 2024 Today, the United States is designating three entities and two individuals for their connection to Russia’s destabilizing actions abroad. According to new information, much of which originates from employees of Russian state-funded RT (formerly “Russia Today”), we now know...

Paying for real estate in Buenos Aires with Bitcoin or crypto?

I hope next year. It is wise from the government to not do it now. Macri removed it at the very beginning and it wasn't a good thing for the economy.

Paying for real estate in Buenos Aires with Bitcoin or crypto?

I don't think, this time, that people will choose socialism again. Maybe future governments won't be libertarian, but I don't see them implementing a 'cepo' again.
