Anyone used Care There in Buenos Aires? Concierge medical care

I just heard about this company that seems new. It seems like it is marketed to ex-pats. An ex-pat friend of mine just sent me an email about them. Here is what the email said. It says Telehealth so I assume they can do prescriptions but I don't know how much they charge. Does anyone know or have you used them before?

I have never heard of them before but seems like a smart business for Telehealth. People always ask me about getting prescriptions here and I always tell them to go to the hospital for a visit. Most of them don't speak Spanish at all and I don't have time to go with them. Seems like it would be good for tourists and expats but it would depend on the price they are charging. If it was too high people will just go with cheaper option.

Great idea! I am the same way. Any time friends come into town they always want to get some medications and I always send them to Hospital Aleman which isn't expensive but they don't always have someone that speaks English. This seems like a great service if the price isn't price gouging foreigners.

They have a WhatsApp link on their website. I asked them for their fees and this is what they responded. Their prices seem reasonable and very convenient to get prescriptions and tests.

Regarding costs, the teleconsultation is priced at $30 USD, while the home visit consultation is $40 USD. For follow-up treatments with a previous prescription issued by a doctor not affiliated with CARE THERE, the cost is $15 USD.

The prescription service is included in the teleconsultation, and after the evaluation, the doctor can issue a digital prescription that is sent to the patient via email. This also applies to certificates for work or health insurance reimbursement requests.

Follow-up on test results is also included in the consultations. After the patient undergoes the tests, we schedule a follow-up appointment to discuss the results and any next steps.

Thanks for posting the costs of a Telehealth visit. That seems like a fair price for a visit. I like that you can do a Telehealth. Probably just a Zoom call. That is very reasonable. When my sister was in town she did a Skype chat with a doctor that one of my friends recommended and he charged her $75 USD for a Telehealth visit. She needed some medications that she lost in her bag and he did the same thing. He sent a digital prescription to her WhatsApp and she just showed the pharmacy here. So if they are doing for $30 that is great if they will include prescriptions.

That will be very easy for tourists or expats. The fact they speak English and Portuguese is also great.
