Anything is good that gets away from cash but if you understand the history of the country with the mistrust with banks and just financial institutions in general, I think it will be a long time before people trust anything than cold hard cash. Maybe as the older generation die off but there is such a mistrust than anything but cash here. It will take a while to get over that.

Most people that weren't here or witnessed what happened after the corralito will probably never comprehend just how bad it was here then. Because of that you just will have many adults that never will trust anything other than cash. So even if the government makes it legal it doesn't mean that sellers/developers will accept it.
