A dubious honor. Argentina has the highest inflation in Latin America.

Inflation has even become part of the memes about the Copa America 😂... it's nothing new. However, I celebrate that June's inflation was lower than May's.

Hopefully inflation doesn't head back up. Sounds like it is creeping back up. I was worrying about it with all the increases in transportation and utility rates but it sounds like they will hold back on some of those?

Hold back? Utility rates have shot up 200% recently. They want to raise them even more. Inflation rates are higher than they are reporting.

Once you see Milei devaluate again you will see a big jump up in inflation again.
Let's hope we don't need to devalue the currency again.

Inflation is still high but cooling. Inflation in CABA was 5.1% for July 2024. So far in 2024 it's about 98.5% and year over year it was 269.4% so still very high.

Very positive that inflation is slowing down. Inflation in August 2024 was down to 4.2%. According to INDEC it has gone up 94.8% so far this year. In the past 12 months it was 236.7% Let's hope it continues to go down.

In fact, it went up. Inflation in July was 4%, and it seems this month didn’t go as they expected. 52% of Argentinians are living in poverty, those are the numbers they should be paying attention to.
