In the face of the economic reality, Argentinians are increasingly seeking options to protect their limited savings, fixed-term deposits in banks are becoming less profitable, so this seems to be a good option.

Well, that's what the experts say, you have to buy bonds in dollars.

Salvador Di Stefano recommendations to invest in the coming months

In his latest publication, financial analyst Salvador Di Stefano began by analyzing how the dollar market behaves in the current recessionary and economic crisis scenario.

As seen in the fall in the value of the blue dollar since the beginning of the year, the parallel currency market is " oversupplied with dollar bills that are looking for pesos to be able to overcome the problems of deficit in business and family budgets."

This leaves the dollar " with a negative result in its price in recent months." This is how Di Stefano reviews it: "The CCL dollar was worth $834.4 on November 30, while on March 31 it was $1,085.70. This is an increase of 30.1% versus inflation in the same period of 90.2 %
In this way, a real fall in the parallel currency against inflation is evident , an idea that the "Blue Guru" has been insisting on for months: in 2024, inflation is expected to exceed the dollar , which is why Di Stefano is betting on investing in instruments linked to the evolution of the CPI .

In this panorama, "in recent months the big winner was the one who bought sovereign debt dollar bonds and the one who bet on the UVA fixed term [adjustable by CPI]," says the specialist.

Hit it by decades of inflation, recessions and cyclical devaluations, many Argentines prefer to take refuge in the dollar as a way of saving and hide their money "under the mattress".
Historically, things didn't go well for those who tried to save in pesos.

These days I don't know what will happen. I have always been comfortable holding USD vs. pesos but I get worried when I see the USA financing billions and billions of dollars it doesn't have abroad in Ukraine, Israel and now Taiwan.
