Food & Drink Awesome Sushi in intimate setting in Recoleta- Restaurante Lima Estilo Nikkei Pacheco

There are only two truly good sushi places in Buenos Aires. The best one is Osaka and the second best one is Restaurante Lima Estilo Nikkei Pacheco.

I’ve been coming here for many years. I used to live around the corner from this restaurant. I lived on Avenida Alvear / Rodriguez Peña. This is on Rodriguez Peña between Posadas and Av. Alvear.

The restaurant is very small and there aren’t many tables so you have to have a reservation. And even with a reservation they are usually behind. There is a small bar at the entrance.

The food quality is high end. Great dishes and the only thing I can complain about is the service is slow sometimes. Last week I went with 3 others and the 4 of us dined like pigs.

The total with tip was around $350 US dollars. But we left a really good tip. Ask for Alexander. He is the best waiter in there.

Jeeze Louis! You sure do like to eat at fancy places! I've been here in Buenos Aires the past few weeks and I didn't know you could spend this much money on food. It DOES look delicious. But you are dropping more in one night then I think I do in almost a week on food.

I'm going to dream about your food porn. Thanks for sharing.

I mentioned on the other post on Osaka but this is a LOT to spend on food in Buenos Aires. I didn't even know people paid this kind of money on food today in Buenos Aires. My boyfriend is college educated and making less than $500 US dollars a MONTH!

Yes, I realize it's very expensive by local standards. I don't eat here daily. But eating steak and pasta day after day gets old. And I refuse to eat the nasty mall sushi or cheap sushi from Rappi. Some people think it's crazy to pay $5,000 for a business class or $10,000 for a first-class ticket to fly. But much like life, everything is relative. But thanks for taking the time to post your opinion.

Adding to my list now. I have had a difficult time finding good sushi in Buenos Aires. I guess everyone here just loves steaks. Thank you.
