He's not for everyone. Self-deprecating, goofy looking and at times over-the-top and awkward I didn't like him initially as well. But what probably appeals most is he seems to enjoy interacting w normal everyday folk.

I watched a bit clips on YouTube. Strange sense of humor but I admit I laughed.

I think Americans have a very strange sense of humor. And I am sure they think we have a strange sense of humor. And also my American friends say Brits have a strange sense of humor.
