Had a great dinner at this local Belgrano restaurant. Skipped appetizer and went right to the main event, the ojo.

I ordered it medium rare and it was maybe a touch over but so matter it was solid and delicious. Huge plate of the pured potatoes were also good, and I couldn't finish them. Nice wine list, too.

Thanks. The steak, potatoes and dessert was around $43000. Bottle of wine was $30000.
Woah. I was going to say it didn't look like it would be that much until you said 30,000 pesos for the wine. That was the price almost of the entire lunch! I hope it was a good one!

Was it on some lunch special of the day? I saw the menu and the ojo on the menu was more expensive. You have good taste in wine. That's a pricey bottle for local standards. But a good vintage. I've had it. Fruity blend. I smelled cherries, raspberries, and some wild flowers. Very dry with bright acidity. Long juicy finish. Kudos. You know wines.
