Politics Cristina's Recoletta Flat Robbed

my spanish isn't great, but isn't this saying the robbery happened a while ago and that she doesn't live there anymore?

I had a friend who lived a block away from this building at the intersection of Juncal & Talcahuano. It's probably one of the prettiest parts of Recoleta, french buildings, plenty of cafés, plazas, leafy trees and very elegant (but dated looking) boutiques everywhere. However the couple of times I was in the area in the evenings, I felt unsafe. Most businesses have their doors locked and you have to be buzzed in. It's a very wealthy part of town and the criminals know it so people are really on guard. After 10PM there are very few people on the streets and everything is closed. Walking home towards Congreso where I live passing by the Plaza Libertad on Paraguay and Libertad was very scary unsavory people standing around on dark corners almost certainly up to no good. Last summer on that same corner I witnessed an armed robbery in broad daylight.

She hasn't lived in that apartment for a while. My friend owns a nice property right around the corner and he also had it broken into last year. He doesn't live there and only uses it a few weeks out of the year.

CFK has been renting out her property for a while now. The article says she has been leasing it out to one of her lawyers.
