The establishment is remarkable and distinguished; from the moment you enter, the staff greets you with elegance, meticulous attention to detail and exceptional friendliness. The quality of the meat is spectacular, with cuts of uncommon thickness and generous portions that can easily be shared, unless you have a considerable appetite. Although there was a minor incident with the salad, it was resolved immediately, and rather than upsetting us, we appreciated the staff's prompt attention and repeated apologies. We enjoyed an excellent meal and were left wanting to try some dessert, so we will definitely be back. I highly recommend them.

I agree! One of my favorites! I get tired of hearing about Don Julio and La Cabrera and a few others in touristy Palermo. There are tons of great parillas at a fraction of the price of those touristy places. I laugh every time I walk by Don Julio's and see people lined up for hours.

I came 3 weeks ago for the most frequent visit. But been here a few times. My friends like this place. It is off the beaten track so not in the most touristy areas but my friend lives near here. It's not the cheapest either so bear in mind but nothing like Don Julio or La Cabrera or other gringo places. Make sure to have a reservation. You can make one on their website.

El Ferroviario and Siga La Vaca are two of my favorites, so I'm both glad and sad to see them getting discovered by the expat crowd, lol. Glad, because they absolutely deserve the stops, sad because I don't want to wait in lines and see the prices spike. 🤣
Yes I have seen a few posts lately on El Ferroviario. It's off the beaten tracks and I think by nature most expats and tourists are lazy and won't want to go that far. I agree great but I haven't been for many years. It's just too far out to be convenient for me as I usually have jam-packed trips but once I move back to BA I would go out more. Those prices are really great!

Holy smokes! This place sounds great. The whining from expats about prices as expensive as the USA are greatly exaggerated if these prices are any indication of prices! They seem cheap to me.

We come here all the time as my wife's brother doesn't live too far away. Fabulous place! Rarely any tourists here when I have been here. A locals place but with prices like they are in Palermo I wouldn't be surprised if more tourists come here. Portions are big and that all you can eat menu is great. I agree about gatekeeping some of these gems but good that people can discover them.

If you get away from touristy areas there are still deals to be had. It HAS gotten very expensive in many places in the main gringo areas. Most tourists don't want to go outside of the bubble which is good for me.

I don't understand why would anyone not get the all you can eat menu??? Some things are reasonable but wow the price of milaneas has gone up a lot! Even at an off the beaten path place I would except to pay less. 44,100 pesos for a Milanesa. And the beef stroganoff at 45,300 pesos. That is a lot. That is more expensive than the States. I can get a beef stroganoff at a nice place here for less than that. That's almost $40 bucks for that. I think that is a lot. All you can eat menu is decent priced but prices sure have gone up a lot.

Meanwhile in Palermo they are still ripping off people. Saw this place in Soho is charging

29,000 pesos for barely any food.

In their defense, this is their milanesa.

Ahhhh ok. That makes sense. I was going to say that seems like a lot. How many people can that feed? It's hard to get scale sometimes from photos. What about the other things? Are they really huge portions. Some of those prices surprised me. Especially for how far away it is. I just saw a map and it's a hike.
