Newcomer How late do buses and the subway run? When do they start in the morning?

Hi everyone! I’m new here, having just arrived a few days ago, and I’d appreciate some guidance on the bus and subway schedules. Thanks in advance!

I understand that the subway runs from Monday to Friday starting at 5:30 AM, on Saturdays from 6:00 AM, and on Sundays and holidays from 8:00 AM. It operates until 11:00 PM, but I believe it runs a bit later on weekends.

Are you sure that the buses run 24/7? I understand that they stop from 1 AM to 5 AM. The Moovit app is the most reliable for the schedules of all bus lines.

@noname is right; the buses run 24/7. They just reduce the frequency during certain hours. Exceptions may affect the Conurbano area, but not the city itself.

Yeah I was amazed that they run 24/7. I used Uber quite a bit but a few of my local friends don't use Rideshare at all as it's expensive for them. I went on the bus a few times while I was staying with my friend. We took the buses very late at night.
