Newcomer Mosquito invasion in BA

We bot got the Dengue vaccinations over a month ago with no side effects at all. We'll be getting the second dose soon. There is a lot of concern being shown recently in our area with the large rise in cases. So despite my doubts it was a good idea of my wife's to get it.
Especially as I haven't noticed any decrease in the mosquito population. In fact I've been bitten more in the last couple of weeks than before depite using repellent. I suspect it'll be quite a while before the risk is over.

Better to be safe than sorry. Here in Mexico we read about all the cases in Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Good you did not get fever. My aunt lives in Argentina and she got the vaccine and got high fever. @Scottishgaucho did you have to pay for the vaccine there? Or did your prepago pay for it?

My uncle work for SC Johnson in Mexico and he said they donated a lot of bottles of mosquito spray. I hope it ends in the hands of locals free.

I thought the number of cases would be lower due to the decrease in temperatures, but I've read that they now adapt to the cold. The government should start a vaccination campaign; they should address the issue as it's urgent.

There are probably more cases than this. Many people that get sick don't go to the hospital.
