I’m definitely on the boring side. Other than a friend who I met through a former coworker, pretty much all the expats I know and associate with are Brazilians I go to church with, with the odd Ecuadorian or Venezuelan thrown in to keep things interesting.

We learned sometimes being on the boring side is the best thing! Most of the expats we know are also Russians.

Nothing wrong with boring. I have a few Venezuelan friends and some of the best people in the world. Most of them are so thankful to be here compared to their country. No matter how bad things here are they compare it to back home and seem thankful.
