Official Thread on Corruption in Argentina - Milei Administration Cleaning up house

Today, Ginés García, the former minister under the governments of Cristina Kirchner and Alberto Fernández, passed away. He was embroiled in a corruption scandal related to the VIP vaccination center during the pandemic.

A round of applause for Brandoni, a great Argentine actor, who shared his story at the Martín Fierro Awards. He was blacklisted for thinking differently, but today he's grateful that all the thieves are being removed. He says he now has hope, speaking in front of many pro-Kirchnerist actors who used to live off the state under previous administrations.

Corruption is everywhere, even in the organizations that represent actors. Fortunately, as Brandoni said, there is hope, and Milei has put an end to all the scams, such as those involving the INCAA (National Institute of Cinema and Arts).

Another instance of corruption involves more money allocated for housing construction that never took place. Where is that money? We should ask this congressman.

With the exhaustive audit and control being conducted in the disability pension sector, it was discovered that 131 fugitives from justice, some highly dangerous, were collecting disability pensions. So far, only 14 have been detained, but the investigation continues to locate the rest. It’s incredible how corruption finds its way into every area.

I read that they were lured into a trap. They were called in to process an increase in their disability pension, thinking they would receive more money, but the gendarmerie was waiting for them and arrested them all. I hope they continue the crackdown and can eventually put an end to corruption in this country.

There are crazy amounts of disability fraud. I heard from several business owners that their employees claim they can't work but posting photos on their social media of them doing crazy things. These people don't sound too bright. I hope they catch them all.

There is fraud all around Argentina. It is no wonder they have so many problems. If they just stop all of this fraud it sounds like they would have tons of money. In many universities it sounds like fake students enrolled to get money.

Another scheme comes to an end; the Milei era is auditing everything, including unnecessary spending at the INCAA (National Institute of Cinema). It’s a waste of resources, funding movies that nobody watches.

A Kicillof official, Martín Sabbatella, had to resign to serve a criminal sentence, which included a one-year ban from holding public office. The offense he committed was abuse of authority. Despite everything, Kicillof has supported, and continues to support, this official.
