Newcomer Palermo to Tigre

I realize the train is the best way to get from Palermo to Tigre. I read there are other options besides the Retiro station. Should we avoid the Retiro station? What are the other options? Is it best to take a cab or bus early in the morning (7:00 AM)? Thank you.

We're heading to Tigre on Saturday for an early morning kayak trip, but it looks like the trains don't run on weekends. Can someone tell us how we get there very early on a Saturday morning?

I am not sure about your info regarding trains not running on weekends.

They do . The schedule is a bit different but they run on weekends.

The train runs every day of the week, the only difference is that on weekends it runs a little less frequently.
