Most of these Ambassadors around the world "bought" their way into their positions. All of these people get rewarded for their political contributions. I think half are all political appointees.

He is from my hometown. He was a class action lawyer. That is how he made his money. He donated a lot of money to Biden. If that isn't bad enough to tell you how bad judgement the guy has. Biden appointed him to this position in 2021.

He was a big bundler for Biden. I remember reading about him in the paper here. He would do fancy $10k a plate dinners for Biden. He was a bundler for him.

I laugh. Actually he speak the truth. He does not have high opinion of Milei and at least he knows Alberto was terrible. I wonder who Trump will send. Let see how it goes.

Thanks for telling me who. Well it look like this guy the same. He just get Ambassador for donating money to Trump. Same as all the other Ambassador with no experience. Anyway he sound successful guy. But he make his Ambassador donating to Trump and Republican party. At least he can speak Spanish. I hear Milei very embarrassed about his lack of English.

Most class-action lawyers are staunch Democrats and collectively they are the party's biggest donor group. They are a walking contrast though as their lifestyles are pure fat-cat with lavish vacation homes, car collections, scotch/wine/cigar collections, kids at elite private schools, private jets, you name it. I once pointed this out to a lawyer friend of mine, he joked "for the people, not of the people".

Another lawyer once explained to me that supporting Democrats a way for class action guys to cleanse their consciences. They know what they do is negative for society, typically they get very rich while their clients get modest sums and the rest of society sees their insurance costs rise.

I can assure you this guy does not care one bit about Argentina's poor. He is not your hero.

Yep. That is funny about your friend @CraigM! I hate these class action lawyers. They are scum of the Earth. Make insurance costs skyrocket. Very few of these Ambassadors care about their host country.
