Economy The Blue Dollar Guru Declared the Death of the Dollar - What to Invest in Now?

legend

Following the government's announcements that are pushing the blue dollar down sharply, Di Stefano (the Blue Dollar Guru) once again prefers buying sovereign bonds over dollars, especially considering that Caputo said he will ensure the payment of interest due in 2025.

Could he be right? How can we know when things here change constantly?

We have a saying in the USA, "Don't fight the Fed" (Federal Reserve). The government can implement all sorts of measures as you are seeing. Things will probably be volatile. But this guru's calls to buy bonds isn't going to be relatable to the majority of Argentines.

Everything is unstable; no one has the absolute truth because, as we've seen, the economy in this country is a box of surprises. With bank fixed-term deposits, you can no longer rely on low-interest rates. Investing depends on how much you want to earn or how much you're willing to lose if you don't choose the best option. I think it's time to wait and see the results of the new economic measures.

With the country risk at its highest in the last four months and the dollar dropping, anything can happen, but nothing is predictable in terms of the economy. As @noname says, we just have to wait.

It seems like the only thing certain in this country is that things will always be uncertain. I've never seen a country where the exchange rate fluctuates so quickly. That is a clear sign that things are broken here.
