I agree about boycotts but rather than a customer boycott, some largest companies seem to have withdrawn their products from Carrefour Brazil. I don't think they would like to have empty shelves in their shops
I figured this would happen. It's a tremendous amount of business lost for either side. Much like some of President Trump's threats of import taxes, probably in the end it's a negotiating tactic.

I saw this post on X. Are groceries really that much more in Chile and Uruguay?? I went to Uruguay and thought it was very expensive. I didn't go to any grocery stores but looking at the data it seems crazy how expensive things there are.
