It will probably take a while to feel all of that $$$$ coming in. It sounds like these are huge projects that will take years and years to build.
Yes will take some time but company after company is announcing huge investments in Argentina. Another company just announced they were investing $400 million in the South of Argentina. Aluar.

Very true. Many companies are taking advantage of the RIGI. Billions of dollars are coming into Argentina and existing players like Mercado Libre have committed to investing more money in Argentina. Mercado Libre will invest $75 million and create 2,500 new jobs in Argentina. You can also see private individuals and companies that have more faith in Argentina. Take a look at US dollar deposits before and after President Milei came into office.

That number should keep going up and with the amnesty you will see that number shoot up over the next 2 years.

This is a good overview on Argentina's RIGI program.

Thanks. They need to make it easier for smaller companies too. These huge investments will probably not be felt for a long time.

Another HUGE investment was announced under Argentina's RIGI investment program. The British-Australian multi-national giant (world's 2nd largest metals & mining company) has announced a $2 BILLION investment to build a factory to process lithium in Salta. It also recently announced an investment of $350 million for the construction of a battery-grade lithium carbonate plant in its Rincón Litio project, which is estimated to be in production by the end of the year.

I saw that news this morning. That is a heck of a lot of money. These companies would never have invested this much money without the RIGI in place. It should be a win/win situation. This should create a lot of new jobs in the next few years.

More good news! This means more investment and opportunities for the country, especially in strategic sectors like lithium. Having companies like YPF, Galan Lithium, and Posco investing in projects in Catamarca and Salta is key to creating jobs and boosting the local economy. Plus, if these projects are managed well, Argentina could really strengthen its position in the global renewable energy market.

The good news doesn't stop. More and more good news. Every day you read about more companies investing in RIGI and once the CEPO is lifted you will have more and more companies coming to Argentina. What a beautiful thing to witness.

Rio Tinto Group has announced plans to invest $2.5 billion in expanding its Rincon lithium project in Argentina, marking a significant victory for President Milei's economic reforms and efforts to attract foreign investments.

So many billions are being committed to Argentina. The effects will probably take several years to feel but the market is pricing for all of these things. I plan to fully retire in Argentina within 2 years. It will be curious to see how things are doing by then.

Besides these big oil and gas projects I am not reading about many companies coming to Argentina yet. Many companies don't have hundreds of millions to invest. I read they were going to do one for smaller companies but haven't read much lately on it. Hopefully companies start up here. Some friends are losing jobs lately.

It probably doesn't make sense for companies to enter Argentina until they end currency controls. It should be coming because IMF won't give more dough until they end it so they have to end eventually.

Every week more and more companies are saying they are going to invest huge amounts of money in Argentina. Today yet another company that says they plan to invest $1 Billion in Argentina.

Navios South American Logistics, one of the leading maritime logistics companies in South America and a key operator in the Waterway has announced plans to invest up to $1 Billion USD in Vaca Muerta.

Incredible watching all of these investments. I can only imagine what will happen once the cepo is lifted. It will be the only way that more and more foreign investments will come in.
