According to the resolution published today in the Official Gazette, public transportation users must "nominalize their SUBE card", i.e., they will have to register their card in their name through the official website. If they do not comply with this requirement, they will pay "a differential fare".
Thus, those who travel on buses within CABA and the Buenos Aires suburbs with a nominalized card will have to pay $270 for a distance of less than 3 kilometers, but if the card is not identified, they will have to pay $430 and $420 on trains.
On the other hand, the Social Tariff aimed at a group of ANSES beneficiaries such as retirees and pensioners, which applies a 55% discount on the fare, will continue to be in force.
According to the Official Gazette, the negative balance of the SUBE will be set at 4 minimum tickets, i.e., a debt of $1080 since February.

Step by step: how to register your SUBE card:
- Go to www.argentina.gob.ar/sube
- Click on "Register it."
- Fill out the form with personal details such as name, ID number, procedure number, email, cellphone number, and card number.
- Once completed, choose a password, accept the Terms and Conditions, and click "Continue."
- You will receive an email for confirmation. Click on "Validate," and you're all set. Your SUBE card is now registered!
