Newcomer Unique dining and evening experiences

We are only going to be in BA for two days and two nights after coming back from a Patagonia vacation . We arrive on a Tuesday night at 4:00 p.m. from El Chalten and were interested in a fun casual evening. Since we are only going to be there two nights we wanted to make sure we experienced something interesting and unique to BA or the region. Any dinner suggestions or after dinner suggestions would be great.

The next night we have dinner reservations at Don Julio‘s and were interested in either seeing tango dancing in a natural setting for instance Plaze Dorrego or a club or show...Just not a “dinner show” since we will have already eaten.

Any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hello,

Search for a Milonga that functions as a cultural hub or dance academy. There are numerous options scattered across the city where you can observe people dancing; it's not a staged performance.

Certainly!

It appears that Tango might be a fitting choice for Wednesday night. Consider attending the Maldita Milonga, where you can enjoy a live orchestra, witness captivating dance performances, and observe social dancing. The milonga kicks off at 10:30, followed by the orchestra at 11, and a dance performance at 12:15. Post-performance, the milonga continues until 2 am.

For those interested, there's an option to participate in a class before the milonga, with separate sessions for beginners and intermediates starting at 9 pm. The venue is located at Perú 571 in Monserrat. You can find more details on their Facebook page:
