Where to find Ficciones by Borges?

Does anyone know where I might find a copy of Ficciones by Jorge Luis Borges, ideally an older edition? I’m starting to explore Argentine authors, and Borges is one of the greatest, so I’d love to begin with this classic.

Literally at any bookstore! In Buenos Aires, you'll find Borges’ books in just about any shop, he’s incredibly popular here. Ficciones, It's one of his most iconic works and a perfect introduction to his unique style of fiction. Another great one is El Aleph, which is just as brilliant. You can’t go wrong with either!

You might want to check out La Librería Del Ávila in San Telmo. It's not just a great spot for books, but also an experience, it’s one of the oldest bookstores in the city, and stepping inside feels like a journey through time. You’ll find a wide range of titles there, and it’s the perfect place to discover Argentine literature.

There's a book fair at Parque Centenario, right next to the Natural Sciences Museum, where you can find old books. It’s a great spot, I’ve found some interesting titles there. Definitely worth a visit!

All these places mentioned are great. My personal favorite is the book stands at Plaza Italia in Palermo by la Rural. Around 30 book stands with very knowledgable open on any given day. Plenty of great used copies of booksI'd also recommend some other greats of Argentinian literature who do short stories and novellas, which are easier to read than Borges, who is a gift that keeps on giving. In this crazy world, reading fiction is as important as ever.
