Investigation shows bus firms part-owned by Milei’s father received huge state subsidies - $33 MILLION USD

If the Kirchneristas are digging up sh*t from 20 years ago , they should get worried. There is a whole lot of stuff re corruption, bribes, and payments to friends which has been discovered by Mileis team which they are not publishing yet. Although God only knows the reason.

Milei's alleged success under questioning from studies measuring people's reality

To be honest the report only republishes official data about the downturn in the economy. Milei during the election campaign did point out there would be a downturn for between 6 and 12 months. So the article is not reporting anything that wasn't pointed out before.

Politics Roadblocks in the Fight Against Human Trafficking: The Rejection of a Crucial Article

the border crossing report on TN is correct, but perhaps it is interesting to point out that you must present your DNI or passport when you leave Argentina. A young kid would have to do the same as well as the other bits and pieces you have to present when a child crosses the border. OK , the...

Politics Roadblocks in the Fight Against Human Trafficking: The Rejection of a Crucial Article

As @earlyretirement says it's impossible to smuggle a kid out of an Argentine airport. But the land borders are easy, especially if there are rivers close by. There are a couple of barges close to Puerto Iguazu which take you over to Paraguay Price 10 bucks - there is no immigration post.

Apparently, there was another semi-dodgy award in the Czech Republic yesterday, This guy is more of a narcissist than my ex-wife... In one of the speeches, he claims that he wouldn't be surprised if he got the Nobel prize this year as he and his team are rewriting economic theory . Hope he...

Politics Roadblocks in the Fight Against Human Trafficking: The Rejection of a Crucial Article

Yes, it's a problem How big? No one really knows. There are a lot of missing children on the police files. But sometimes when they turn up, no one tells the police, so they are still officially missing. Historically the police have not bothered too much to keep the investigations going...

Politics Diplomatic crisis with Spain? How does it affect Argentina if the president of Spain withdraws his ambassador?

Just to remind the super libertarians in the group. The balcony being used by AYUSO and MILEI is in the former HQ of Franco-s secret police where many democrats , left and right-wing , were tortured in the post-Civil War Years

/// The award from the Community of Madrid was given by the right-wing president of the community – it is politically motivated and the principal reason is to annoy the Country’s center-left President – This can only be described as semi-dodgy. With all due respect, this is not a real award –...

It is semi-dodgy because it is not a real prize or medal It is from a right-wing leader of the Comunidad de Madrid to a right-wing President. There is no merit involved here - if he was left-wing, he would not get this prize. The medal in Germany is more of the same, a right-wing economics...
