I don't care what they say about me as long as they spell the name of the country Argentina right.

Going to talk to potential investors is absolutely fine. To go and pick up semi-dodgy prizes and medals from political allies using taxpayers' cash is not really sensible when we all know that "no hay plate"

Politics Diplomatic crisis with Spain? How does it affect Argentina if the president of Spain withdraws his ambassador?

Milei tried to meet up with the King of Spain on this trip. The king reminded him that Foreign policy is totally controlled by the Government and not the Royal Household.

Politics Diplomatic crisis with Spain? How does it affect Argentina if the president of Spain withdraws his ambassador?

Ayuso is not the President of Spain - she is the president of the Community of Madrid. A similar post to Axel Kiciloff in the province of Buenos Aires

Politics Diplomatic crisis with Spain? How does it affect Argentina if the president of Spain withdraws his ambassador?

@Avocado, On this occasion, I am in full agreement with you. I wonder what Milei would do if any European politician came to BS As to accept an "award" from Kiciloff.....

Politics Riots in Congress During the Debate on the Bases Law: They Are Not Protesters, They Are Savages

It seems that the guy who set fire to the journalist's car is a municipal employee of La Matanza Town hall. If you want to protest against something you dont agree with, is there a need to burn cars and throw rocks? I dont think so. Also if you are not involved in protesting , there is no need to be in that street when everyone knew there was situation about to develop that wasnt safe.

Newcomer Paul McCartney in Buenos Aires

I actually dont rate McCartney on his own and there is no way I would pay USD 150 to listen to him in a football stadium with the worst acoustics. I got a special from my bank to buy the tickets with six interest free instalments. But I turned down their generosity...... A friend asked me this...

First Clinic with a Voucher System.

@MikeYoung, I had dinner in March with 6 US friends in Miami a couple of months back. We had a 3-3 split in the group plus me and an Irish friend. We could not believe the animosity between the two bands - it was really incredible.

Economy The government claimed that wages are outpacing inflation: it's a joke?

Whenever a government -Argentina , UK or USA - says that salaries are beating inflation , I treat the comment with total contempt.
