Newcomer Getting a DNI for the Kids

Has anyone gone through the process of getting a DNI for their kids? I want to enroll them in a healthcare plan, but it seems they don’t accept children without a DNI. I really need to get it done quickly, does anyone know how to speed up the process?

I don't know if you can get a DNI for your kids before you have a DNI. I am assuming you're an expat? I thought I remembered reading on this forum people mentioning some healthcare providers that will sell you a policy without a DNI. Search on this forum to see. Medical costs here are very affordable so at least you can pay as needed until you get coverage. Most procedures aren't expensive but I agree ideal to have coverage in case of some emergency.

Yes, most healthcare plans require a DNI for enrollment, but there are some, like Swiss Medical and Hospital Alemán, where you can enroll with just a passport.

You should try the healthcare plans she mentioned earlier because there's no way to speed up the process. While the procedure itself isn’t difficult, it is lengthy, and it can take several weeks for the DNIs to arrive. Plus, this is Argentina, so everything tends to be slower.

I just need to obtain their DNIs. I can't wait for their citizenship to be processed; I need the DNIs as soon as possible to get health insurance. My plan was to enroll them in OSDE, but I think I might need to reconsider and try Swiss Medical instead.
