JP Morgan announces the recession is over in Argentina

JP Morgan has released an optimistic report on Argentina's economic outlook, indicating that the country's recession has come to an end.

My wealth manager at JP Morgan just sent me that report this morning. Great news indeed! The most painful period is in the first year. I think things will continue to improve. Still work to be done but lots of positive changes.

It definitely feels like Argentina is going to explode. I keep reading about the government getting rid of taxes and regulations. I see real estate prices have drastically gone up since last year when I was in BA. Poverty levels still seem very high but that will probably take time to go down. Some surveys I read show it is already dropping.

JP Morgan has confirmed an optimistic outlook for the Argentine economy in the coming months, projecting a "V-shaped" recovery following the contraction experienced in 2024.

The investment bank has revised its estimates for Argentina upwards:

For 2025, it projects growth of 5.5%, improving on its previous estimates.

For 2026, it expects expansion to continue with an additional 4%.

Several indicators support this "V-shaped" recovery projection:

Wow the real estate market is shooting up! The number of property closings is through the roof.
Yes the numbers are looking great. Luckily @earlyretirement told me this would happen the summer of 2023 when I purchased my first apartment in BA. Things are playing out exactly as he told me. It looks like there is a lot more room to grow based on mortgages growing and the tax amnesty billions continue to go into the real estate market.
