Real Estate Sales No negotiation: why there is almost no room to discuss the price of a home in a real estate transaction - Infobae

Just the one AC in mine. The other bills were 700 kwh or less, so who knows what was going on during that time. My place was booked up about 9 months in advanced with most doing monthly or multiple months. Any future bookings I'll put a cap on energy usage.

It was the Google sheets that I saw each month increasing by 5-10% and then all of a sudden doubled which raised some red flags. And those smart locks are awesome, both for the owners and tenants - also makes checking in and out much easier as well with no need to wait around to pick up/drop off clunky keys.
That is a good idea about the spreadsheet. I will ask mine to do that. Mine always seems behind paying my bills. I try to prepay my condo bills ahead of time. Were you able to sign up for internet under your name @FuturoBA? I wasn't and had to ask a friend to sign up for that. They said I needed residency which seemed strange. I could put everything else under my name.

Glad that you're getting your condo bill now.

That's great Petey, I hope the offer is successful. Our thought process was similar but what sealed it was the difficulty in trying to view existing properties. It's very different than the US. I have no idea what is the best way to go about that as a foreigner, all I can say is that my approach didn't work at all.

.
Unfortunately we waited a day too long. We bid under asking price and they told me that prices were moving up every few weeks with inflation. I did not counter offer and another person bought the 7th floor unit that we wanted. 😢 We are going to expand our search to properties that are already completed too. We have already seen a few older units but almost all of them need some sort of renovation. The realtor that Buysellba recommended has been very good and already showed us several properties.

Ah bummer Petey, good luck in your search!

No, I don't believe the internet is in my name and I heard something similar back then. In Argentina things are always changing so it's difficult to know what's current and what's not.

Typically for whatever reason internet companies don't allow people without a DNI to get internet plans. We have always done this for our clients. I'm not sure what the reason is. Other utilities can be put under your name without residency DNI.
