Half my friends don't care for him but they also have their life savings in dollars and their purchasing power has drastically fallen. But one thing they are impressed is that inflation has gotten better but scared what healthcare costs and utilities will be in the future as it keeps going up above the inflation rate. That is the wildcard. Also seems like there would have to be a devaluation and prices will go up again then.

I voted against Milei but I am now a believer that Argentina is going to turn around. It has been painful because my pension is in dollars but I am grateful that things are improving. My expenses have jumped up and I am worried about future costs because my building condo fees keep going up. My healthcare premium is also going up. Same with my utility bills but I could not afford to live in the States.

What i am amazed with is how he is sticking to his plan and doing what he said he would do. In dollars Argentina is expensive. I still don't think that is sustainable over the long period. But let's see.

He is doing everything he promised he would do. That is why people are willing to suffer a little. They are seeing the results. I am seeing things I never thought I would see like all the riots blocking the streets end. We just need to wait a little longer but every day there is more good news and more regulations and taxes are getting eliminated.

I saw the news about ending import taxes starting in December. That will be great!!!

So nice not to have these people blocking the roads anymore. I think that is also why some people still support Milei even if it's hurting their pocket books. Things like being able to get to work every day or get to school are important.

Love his podcasts. I didn't know Milei was going to be on it. Saw him with Trump the other night on TV. Trump's favorite president. Amazing to see how much love Milei is getting from around the world. I hope Trump can do the same thing for the USA!

Thank you for posting this. I got a chance to listen to the entire podcast today. Milei actually sounds super smart. I have mostly seen clips of him yelling or screaming but if you listen to it you can see he has a goal for Argentina. Now I can see why things are turning around for the country.

He definitely has a plan and the interview was the best so far where I heard him articulate it well. Argentina has a bright future if they can stick to his plan.

I listened to the entire thing. It almost seems as if Milei has been preparing for this his entire life. I just hope he does well before the mid-term elections. Yesterday he threw the VP under the bus. The last thing he needs is a fight with his VP right now.

I heard that. Maybe that trip with Trump went to his head. She has been loyal to him and helped him win the election. They need to show a united front now not fight in public.
