Newcomer Value of Uber for a full day

I will have six hours in Buenos Aires, I would like to hire an Uber for the day to pick me up at the airport and take me to meet and return me. Can you tell me how much does an Uber or Didi cost for the day?

Hiring an Uber or Didi for the day can be a convenient way to explore Buenos Aires within a limited time frame. However, please note that ride-hailing services typically operate on a point-to-point basis, and hiring a driver for the entire day might not be a standard service.

To estimate the cost of an Uber or Didi, you can use their respective apps, which provide real-time fare estimates based on your starting point and destination. Keep in mind that these services charge based on distance and time, and rates may vary.

In terms of what you can see in six hours in Buenos Aires, here are some suggestions:

  1. La Casa Rosada (The Pink House): The iconic presidential palace located at Plaza de Mayo.
  2. Recoleta Cemetery: Explore this famous cemetery with impressive mausoleums, including Eva Perón's.
  3. Obelisco: A landmark monument in the city center.
  4. Puerto Madero: Stroll along the waterfront and enjoy the modern architecture and restaurants.
  5. La Boca: Visit the colorful Caminito street and explore the vibrant neighborhood.
  6. Palermo Soho: Trendy area with boutiques, cafes, and street art.
Remember that traffic conditions and the time of day can impact your ability to see multiple attractions. Plan your itinerary carefully to make the most of your six hours in Buenos Aires.

The fact that it is at the airport (you are already in the city) and on a Sunday, certainly makes things easier.

Personally I don't think that taking an Uber to take you around is a good option, on the one hand because I have no idea how much it will cost and on the other hand because you will have to get a driver who knows the city well enough to make the ride worthwhile. I suggest you take the Uber to the stop of the "tourist bus" that runs through the main tourist spots maximizing your time in the city.

you are already in the city
Ezeiza EZE, or AEP in CABA?

can hire a fixed-price taxi at the EZE airport with a credit card, i last heard $20 USD

i tried Cabify and it seems like it needs an Argentina # to get set-up. haven't succeeded in making an account. try before you travel!

if you want to get a quote, ask https://www.instagram.com/susi.taxi/?hl=en on WhatsApp and she'll tell you the prices (i used her, she doesn't speak English)

Yes, I paid about $25 USD from EZE to my apartment in Palermo. I just used the stand right to the left when you exit customs. I'm not sure of the company but they all charge about the same thing. I used my credit card and that is what I paid several weeks ago.

Uber is all over so you don't need a driver to wait. I'm sure you can hire him/her but what is the point? Just get a new one after you visit each place. Not hard!
