Couldn't agree more Mike. I'm surprised Milei could be that small-minded. If he had kept his nose clean, a long list of highly paid board memberships and speaking engagements was waiting for him after government. His life would consist of giving speeches, rubbing elbows with interesting people all over the world, luxury travel, and getting paid handsomely for it. Whatever he made on that silly coin pales in comparison to all this. Not to mention the loss of status and everything else. That is exactly correct Craig. I've been doing business in Argentina for 23 years now. I've pretty much seen it all. I am not naive to think that Milei or his sister wouldn't be involved in anything corrupt. I think it's safe to say ALL politicians in Argentina probably are. I was disappointed that he would be so stupid to be blatant about it.
Now any outsider that knows anything about what he did will know he is just another member of the caste. Granted much better than the past corrupt leaders we have had but crushed a lot of people's hopes that he would be more intelligent. He has still done a lot of good things and will continue to. Just a needless self-inflicted distraction he didn't need in an election year.
Also not too impressed with Milei's crisis management. His messaging is poor and he doesn't seem to grasp that, family or not, heads need to roll.
