It has always been like this. Sure we have massive inflation but many companies always use that as an excuse to price gouge consumers.
Take some products like potato chips that are made here in Argentina. Nothing needs to be imported here. Made with potatoes from Argentine, vegetable oil from Argentina and facility manufacturing plant in Argentine yet cost double of what they cost in Europe or USA. Even 60% more than what you would pay in Uruguay where things are expensive too.
Can it be that Lay’s potato chips made with Argentine potatoes, fried in Argentine oil, made in a plant in Argentina are double what you would pay in the UK for instance?
