The government won't announce when the Cepo will end. One day they will just suddenly announce it. But it is not likely that they will end up before the elections next year because if something were to happen unexpectedly like people rushing to cash out dollars and inflation goes up it would be bad for the elections. IMF won't lend more money until the cepo ends.I see the blue rate and the official rate are almost the same. When will the government get rid of the currency controls. This feels all manipulated to me. All my local friends in Argentina tell me it is a mirage and the government is controlling the rate. When will they end the controls? And what will happen once they do? I read the IMF is requiring that before they will give more money or restructure another deal.
