Javier Milei Launches Bitcoin Revolution in Argentina

This was very strange for Milei to shill for a memecoin. The way he did it too. It wouldn't have gotten pumped up unless he did it like he did. Then he went radio silent for 6 hours and did not post any updates. This is not presidential behavior. I don't know how people can make excuses about...

Morgan Stanley Upgrades Banking Stocks in Argentina - Bank stocks surging ahead

I got in when Stanley Druckenmiller did. When I heard him on TV speaking about how it was a good time to get in I followed his lead. Usually these people aren't wrong. He is up big on his portfolio. I just did the same as he did buying the largest ADR's. I'm up over 100% this year. Now the...

    Newcomer Looking for Netting Installers

What is the purpose of this? Is this for safety so kids don't fall off the balcony?

Any expats own gun in Argentina? Do you want to own a gun or firearm here in our country?

I also support gun rights in America but like there aren't many guns here at all. I can see in the countryside or more rural areas the argument for having guns but I think for Latin America more guns = more problems typically. Guns usually fall into the wrong hands here. But then again I see a...

Politics Thread: President Javier Milei - From Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) to Today

This will make you happy @Avocado. Milei isn't going to go anywhere for vacation. He is doing this just for you. Not only him but any government officials.

Trip Reports A nice selection of Argentinian wines at a supermarket in London

That is unbelievable wine is so cheap there compared to Argentina. I guess they are making all their money domestically then if it's more expensive in Coto than the UK considering all of those taxes and shipping.

G20 Summit: Argentina signed an agreement to export Vaca Muerta gas to Brazil

There is still a lot of upside. Many of these stocks got beaten down so badly. YPF was over $65 back in 2005 and I think it has more potential now with Milei. I have held on to YPF for over 2 years now and it's gone up almost 400%. I am not selling. I will ride it out. PAM is also a good play...

Has anyone replaced a lost or stolen passport at the USA Embassy in Buenos Aires?

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a replacement passport that is expiring or expired? Anyone renewed a USA passport recently in Buenos Aires? How long does it take?

Chori - Delicious Choripan Restaurant in Palermo Soho

FYI. The cerdo classico is now 9,400 pesos and the potato salad is 6,400 pesos as of today. Steep. Almost $8 dollars for a choripan.

Argentina recession leaves once-bustling Buenos Aires restaurants hustling for customers

That is interesting that even Don Julio has slowed down so much. They still probably will be ok as so many tourists go there. All my local friends stopped going there a while ago as it got too expensive. Not sure what prices are like now.

Politics Javier Milei is the South American president who grew the most in positive image this month - Infobae

And if you look at the numbers and polling, his party is going to surge the next elections if this keeps up.
